Srilanka has a growing world class ICT industry and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering produces the country’s leading Computer Science Engineers who drives the industry. The department has an excellent reputation among the technical people all over the world and it has a knack to anticipate new trends and train students who will be graduating as industry qualified.

The department produces graduates who work on various innovative products, research and development projects such Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Image and Video Processing. Many great leaders have emerged from this department in the past and they continue to do so.

In EXMO 2017, the students of the department will be enlightening visitors with some of the state of the art research products and inventions. Many of the products have won international awards and it will be a pleasant experience for those who visit the premises.

In parallel to EXMO 2017, there will be a Photo Exhibition. Photos were taken by students of CSE13 and CSE14 batches for Digital Photography module at the University premises, Galle Fort and Negombo.
